Tripataka's latest double album release, Gliese 667C, displays masterful improvisations and rhythmically-charged cyclic forms, creating a sound world of possibilities. Driven by a deep love of ancient rhythmic traditions, the trio explore musical territories beyond geographic borders. The Melbourne-based group features bass trombonist Adrian Sherriff, electric bass guitarist Jonathan Dimond and drummer Adam King with guests vibraphonist Daryl Pratt and didgeridoo artist Amos Roach.
