This is a special release to celebrate Jan Sedivka's 80th birthday in 1998. He is one of the most influential violinists currently working in Australia. His teaching school, established in Hobart, has produced some of the country's best young violinists. His association with composer Larry Sitsky has resulted in many works for solo violin and violin concerti, two of which are now available on CD for the first time.
