This piece was written as a tribute to and blackly humorous shadow of the famous Britten choral piece "Hymn to Saint Cecilia" and to coincide with the Britten Centenary. It was written for the talents of the remarkable Gondwana Chorale for their tour of the UK and France in January-February 2013.
