Product details

The overarching concept of the composition is based on pre-composed ideas that are performed and then fed back to the performance manipulated by musicians that operate the machine (Ableton Push Controller - a electronic device that is at the cutting edge of technology - used by musicians such as seminal artist Professor George Lewis) and musicians performing on traditional instruments. These ideas will be improvised by both classical and jazz musicians and then manipulated by the Ableton Push controller. In a creative sense, it is the capturing of sound and reintroduction into the ensemble's conversation.

In addition to the performers, the audience and the overall sonic environment will have a musical role in the composition.
