Product details
This piece was written, with much affection, as a birthday gift
to Jan Sedivka, to be performed, hopefully, by an ensemble of
string students and friends.
The size of the ensemble needs to be large enough to allow for
the brief concluding solos in Violin I, Viola and Cello,
simultaneous with all parts in the remaining ensemble.
Also, the performing balance needs to take account of the 3/4
pizz. rhythmic canon, in Violin II and Bass, against the 5/8 arco
flow of the other parts during much of the piece.
