Set Sail! is a high-energy virtuosic guitar duet written for Duo La Barre.
They specifically asked me to use a combination of classical and semi-acoustic guitars to complement their existing repertoire for these two instruments. In this piece I pushed the limits of the players set in my previous pieces for this instrumental combination (Lost Illusions, May The Gods Be Victorious, Two Worlds).
The piece in three movements marks a new stage in one's live - turning back on unpleasant experiences.
