Product details
The action of The Tempest takes place on a remote island, inhabited by Prospero, the deposed duke of Milan, his daughter, Miranda, Ariel, a spirit, and Caliban, a slow-witted monster, who waits on Prospero. Through magic, Prospero creates a storm which shipwrecks the King of Naples and his entourage on the island. Each of the king's party lands on a different part of the island, and each believes the rest of the party to have perished.
Man in the Moon is a duet between Caliban and Trinculo, a butler to the king of Naples. Trinculo happens to have washed up on the shore with a bottle of wine. Coming across Caliban, he is initially frightened, but manages to convince the creature to become his man-servant.
Full Fathom Five is a duet between Ferdinand, the prince of Naples and Ariel. Ferdinand believes his father to have perished in the tempest; Ariel sings to Ferdinand of his father, in order to lead Ferdinand toward Miranda, Propsero's daughter.
