Product details
Two Songs about Stradbroke Island/Minjerribah contains two separate but related works: The Headland, and Deadman's Beach. The work was written specifically for mixed middle years change of voice choirs and has been performed in eisteddfods, music festivals and concerts. The Headland is quiet and tranquil, while Deadman's Beach is fast and lively and is marked as 'a rollicking romp'. Stradbroke Island/Minjerribah is the traditional home of the Quandamooka people and is also home to dolphins, whales, green sea turtles, manta rays, kangaroos, koalas and kookaburras. It is unbridged so is relatively untouched in terms of human intervention.
