This poignant song seeks to bring the wistful dairy entry of Australian soldier, Ellis Silas to life. Silas, a painter, witnessed the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli on April 25, 2015. The text of this song, which is adapted from his diary entry of April 28, takes us on a journey where we too imagine the return of peace on the scarred battlefields of the Gallipoli coast.
