Work Overview
'Do you remember?' is
the third song in the song cycle of contemporary classical art
songs 'Songs of Love and Desire' for mezzo-soprano voice and
piano, composed by Margaret Brandman to the passionate lyrics of
Désirée Regina.
In this song, the lovers muse on beautiful moments together
in the twilight. This work has been composed with a haunting
modal melody underpinned by a gently swaying Latin-American
influenced rhythm.
