Work Overview
This is lively dance-like work in quadruple time. The modal harmonies together with the syncopated rhythms make this composition somewhat reminiscent of Medieval Dance tunes. There are two contrasting sections: the A section is in the key of E minor and the B section transitions to C#minor.
