Work Overview

Geography of the Clarinet is a set of 30 student studies that focus on specific and very explicit aspects of clarinet technique and musical development. Specific study focusses include dynamics, articulation, resonance fingerings, pentatonic scales and syncopation.

The collection includes 50 Clarinet Warm-ups with each study linked to one or more of these warm-ups.

The collection is predominantly written below the break to ensure that the studies are accessible to young and beginning students.

The studies cover a range of engaging styles and are designed to appeal to students with an interest in classical, jazz and contemporary styles.
