Stone Compression : for violin, megaphone & electronics / Stephen de Filippo.
Library shelf no. 787.2/DEF 1 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
Stone Compression pairs the electronically processed grinding overpressure of the violin, and the sound of the megaphone, with a fixed media component that samples the force majeure soundscape of rockfalls and landslides - creating heavy, gritty, and sometimes uncontrollable textures.
