The composer notes:
I wrote this piece with inspiration from the text score works of Pauline Oliveros, and also with an interest in the work of Cornelius Cardew and John Cage.
Written for a call for scores by newCELF (Daniel-Wyn Jones and Richard McReynolds) in 2019.
