Work Overview

I am very interested in light. In 2025, I developed a harmonic system to evoke the cosmic colours and light of our upper atmosphere, as photographed by astronaut Don Pettit. Until now, I have only used this system in large ensemble works, but my aim with this piece was to filter it through a kind of prism, or equivalent in musical terms. This piece imagines the fragility of those colours under the turning of a prism, as they dance and relate to one another, always on the edge of invisibility.
