Work Overview
Cloud Magic is my first piece for Wind Symphony. It was inspired by many mornings bathing in the sunrise on the edge of the North Bondi cliffs in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, and a lifelong admiration of clouds.
The work explores the interplay between light and cloud, and paints in sound my impressions of the
powerful energy and transformational magic that ignites when light and cloud meet. At times sparse, majestic and gently spread across the sky. At others - bold, loud, fierce, consuming.
I am eternally grateful for the nature that surrounds me - a constant source of inspiration and calibration.
May we all be delighted and awed by the magic of clouds.
