Work Overview
This work was commissioned by Rachel Scott as a companion piece to Bach's G major prelude from the first suite BWV 1007. Rachel's idea was to commission a set of companions to the Bach cello preludes, this work being the first. It was premiered by Rachel performing first the Bach prelude followed immediately by Night Prelude.
