Work Overview
PHOENIX is a work centred on the continual process/cycle of dedication, exhaustion, re- motivation, and in turn re-incarnation. The instrumentation consists of alto saxophone, cello, and piano, utilising minimalist piano gestures and hemiolas with dovetailed and antiphonal phrases across the saxophone and cello.
