Work Overview
Redlands (2004) commissioned by the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra Inc. (Now renamed the Redland Sinfonia a community orchestra in Redland City). The work is 10 minutes in length and is divided into three movements. Each movement draws upon the environment and atmosphere of the Redland City landscape in South East Queensland, creating a musical celebration of the area whilst showcasing the talents of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra.

Instrumentation: Piccolo, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets in B flat, bass clarinet in B flat, 2 bassoons, 4 horns in F, 3 trumpets in B flat, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion (3 players), harp, strings.
Duration: 10 min.
Difficulty: Medium — Composed for a community orchestra with limited rehearsal time.
