Work Overview

Romeo's Passion is an intimate chamber opera protraying a family and its inner turmoil and final coming to terms with the coming out of their gay son and the cancelling of his impending marriage to a childhood female sweetheart. It portrays the challenges of acceptance of difference and is a sensitive introduction to issues and emotionally charged responses to this topic.
