Work Overview

Pegasus' Dance is a revised version for two pianos adapted from the opera Psyche. In the opera it is titled Dance of the Chimera. Overman reworked the Dance for solo piano as part of Three Dances (1955) (Dance no.1) and the version for two pianos in 1953.
