The musical personalities within this book evolved from observations of today's "cats on the internet" phenomenon, in comparison to environment-inspired pedagogical piano works of last century. As a modern-day salute to Walter Carroll's "Scenes at a Farm", it is hoped that Cats on the Keys will capture the imagination of piano students of all ages and engage and inspire them at the keyboard.
