Work Overview
Good Morning Zapruder is a lament for the desensitisation of young people, a consequence of regular exposure to distressing information and imagery via social media. The concept dawned on me one morning as l unlocked my phone and was immediately confronted by the infamous Zapruder film; the footage of the assassination of JFK.

Instrumentation: 2 Flutes/piccolo, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets in B flat, 2 bassoons, 4 horns in F, 2 trumpets in B flat, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, tmpani, percussion, harp, strings.
Duration: 7 min.
Difficulty: Medium — There is a good mix of unison playing and independent parts, suitable for tertiary students.
