Through musical arcs of "fun and fury" (Limelight), Ben Robinson's agile and colourful ideas appeal to a wide audience, earning commissions from Musica Viva Australia (2024), Omega Ensemble (2023), the Australian National Academy of Music's inaugural ANAM Set (2021), the Sydney Opera House (2020) and Ensemble Apex (2019 & 2020).

Ben's music has also been performed by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Youth Orchestra, the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Penrith Symphony Orchestra and Ensemble Offspring, presented at local festivals including Vivid Sydney and Extended Play, and performed internationally in the USA, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, and the Asia Saxophone Congress in Shanghai.

Since graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Ben has been selected for prestigious development opportunities including the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra's Australian Composers' School and Omega Ensemble's CoLAB: Composer Development Program, where he has honed a fiery compositional style and a knack for collaborating with Australia's leading musicians.
