Add to cartWork Overview
This work is based on a Stockhausen piece "Die Zehn Wichtighsten worte" which he sent me as a postcard. I have created a piece about Annaghmakerrig, in Ireland. Thanks to the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Ireland, I was composer in residence at the centre, and the piece is very much about the inspiration of the place and people at the centre. I wanted to create something harmonically challenging, but not atonal, and pleasing to the ear.
