Work Overview
Moolga Widyooroo Windoo Windoo (Tears Flowing Endlessly) is a cantata for youth choir. In this work I was setting up music to a libretto by Jenna Richards (Barngarla Aboriginal Community).
The libretto is the most powerful text I ever worked with. It is about resilience.
I am so grateful to Jenna for the collaboration and for allowing me to set-up music to her most-amazing writing.
Barngarla is a dormant Australian Aboriginal language that was spoken in Port Lincoln, Whyalla and Port Augusta area of Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, Australia.
