Work Overview
Nineteen Seventy-Three was written to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Sydney Opera House. This work seeks to capture both the broad, imposing grandeur and fine, intricate nuances of the Opera House's immense architectural structures. This is achieved through the juxtaposition of expansive tuttis with intricate ensemble work.
