This work is has been adapted from a multi-movement Symphonic work by the composer named Symphonic Dances. The first movement here has been adapted into a standalone concert work for orchestra, shorter in length and with a concert ending. The work develops a single motific idea that is transformed throughout the piece in different ways encompassing a range of musical emotions.
