Year: 1982, this version: 1985

Instrumentation: 2 flutes (1st doubling piccolo), 2 oboes (1st doubling cor anglais), 2 clarinets in B flat, 2 bassoons, 4 horns in F, 3 trumpets in B flat, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani, percussion (3 players), piano/celeste, harp, strings.

Duration: 12 min.

Difficulty: Advanced

Commission note: Commissioned by Melbourne Youth Music Council with funds provided by Australia Council. Music Board.. Commissioned as part of Victoria's 150th celebrations for the Melbourne Youth Orchestra.
