Night Waltz : for solo piano / Frances Cameron.
Library shelf no. 786.2/CAM 5 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
This moody and reflective piece was composed in a late night session at the piano. It was also recorded in the evening where the stillness allowed the sparse, plaintive melody to be captured while the city slept. It is an intimate piece, inspired by my love of Chopin's works and a strong romantic/minimalistic aesthetic. Designed to be savoured on still evenings where the overtones and natural decay captured on this historic piano can lull you into a meditative state.
