Work Overview
Strategies is built on Celtic themes in a drop D guitar tuning. It flows with several sections containing triplets as a common occurance. It can be performed in a small ensemble with drums, violin and cello accompaniments or solo guitar. Strategies ebbs and flows with dymanic tension resolving in a descending, calming theme before returning to the main, more prominant theme at the end. It is both playful and dynamic.
