'Wedded To The Sea' is a symphonic poem which appears in the composer's large-scale operatic musical 'Morning Blossoms'.
Instrumentation: Flute (doubling piccolo), oboe (doubling cor anglais), clarinet in Bb, bassoon (doubling contrabassoon), 2 horns in F, 2 trumpets in Bb, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion (2 players), harp, solo violin, strings.
Duration: 5 min.
Commission note: 'Morning Blossoms' was commissioned in 2014 by the Dutch based arts organisation ODD Continent.
