This is a sweet, lyrical miniature for string quartet based on a repeated, rhythmically playful pattern of 11 beats; a mosaic of melodic fragments that rises from the lowest note of the cello to the gleaming heights of the violin's register.
Instrumentation: 2 violins, viola, cello.
Duration: 2 min.
Difficulty: Advanced — Rhythm (3/4 + 5/8 throughout) and the violin parts reach upper part of range
