This is a mainly homophonic, polymodal setting of a reading from the Old Testament of the Bible popular at weddings, by turns ravishing and meditative, popular with modern couples for it's rare positive representation of sexuality and egalitarian gender relations within the Bible.
Instrumentation: SATB choir (minimum 4 soloists to large ensemble)
