The composer's first composition, created as a school student, and composed while taking walks in the bushland close to his home in The Gap, Brisbane. Certainly juvenilia.
Instrumentation: 3 flutes, 3 oboes, 3 clarinets, 3 bassoons, 4 horns, 3 trumpets, trombone, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion, strings.
Duration: 5 min.
Winner of the 1982 ABC Young Composer's Award.
