This work is in memory of my grandmother. I lived in her house in Junction Road, Eagle Junction, Brisbane in the 1990s. It has a lot of counterpoint and makes the guitar sound like an ensemble.
Instrumentation: Clarinet in B flat, violin, viola, cello, piano.
Duration: 10 min.
Difficulty: Medium — AMEB Grade 7+
Influenced by the work of Phillip Houghton.
The first movement is based on the Violin Concerto.
An arrangement of the original version for soprano saxophone, violin, viola, double bass and piano.
