Work Overview
I have attempted to convey something of a sense of mystery associated with the night. The original 1993 version was scored for trombone and piano. With this version, the addition of a voice part has enabled me to include words which asssocite more specific meaning with certain passages. the clarinet part is similar to the trombone except for some changes in octave registration and added figuration at bars 117 and 118.
