Work Overview
I wrote this song when I woke after a dream with it fully formed. I had been reading Jared Diamond's book, 'Guns, Germs and Steel' and was obviously very disturbed to begin to understand what "we" brought to these shores. The song would go well for any school program looking at colonisation history in Australia as a kicking off point for more discussion and learning as it attempts to give children a sense of time span over generations.
