Sometimes you hear something that wakes you up inside. Becky was listening to a Christmas Eve sermon and something woke up in her. She thought about the experience of the mother of Jesus in a new way. Using her experience as a librettist, she crafted this anthem in praise of people who live with hardship, fear, disappointment and take courage from the way Mary lived.
