This work was written at the height of the Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings period in the early 2000s. Its fantasy/magic theme was intended to appeal to children but adult choristers find it equally appealing. The vocal parts are very accessible with a memorable, lyrical melody line sitting within the range of a tenth.
