Work Overview
Inspired by 'Spiegel im Spiegel' composed by Arvo Pärt, Reflections takes on a similar structure where the violin performs a sustained melody which increases in length with each phrase, always returning to the note C until the cycle is completed. The Piano creates an atmosphere of stillness whilst driving the composition forward with each development in the accompaniment.
