Work Overview
This is a humorous poem, written by a friend of mine who lives in Sydney, about the daily life of flamingos in a zoo, and what they get up to when the visitors leave after the gates close for the night!!
The piece has a very Spanish feel (as one might expect from the title) and features vocal effects simulating flamenco guitars along with hand claps imitating castanets. This is a winning choice if performed with great interpretation and flare!
