Work Overview
This short concert work for string orchestra is adapted from '6 Duos for Violin and Viola' and are intended to be of modest technical difficulty, to be enjoyed in a concert and pedagogical setting for a student orchestra of an intermediate skill level.
It is hoped they will provide readily realisable challenges for younger players across a variety of interpretive genres; from rhythmical and asymmetrical meters, lyrical and melodic counterpoint, changing time signatures, phrases lengths and bowing.
