Work Overview
Any Blue Cat Dances was written for the 50th anniversary in 2012 of the Adirondack Baroque consort, one of the oldest early music consorts in North America. The title, which reflects the initials of the dedicatee, also refers to a dialogue between a contemporary composer and ancient forms. Note that "dances" can be both a noun and a verb!
