Original dates of composition: Chasing (1985), What about tabouleh? (1996), The great emu war (1997).

The original version of 'What about tabouleh?' was commissioned by Robyn Mellor for performance at the New Zealand Recorder Week 1996, with the assistance of the ACT Government through its Cultural Council. 'The great emu war' was commissioned for the quartet 'Fortune'.
