This song laments an impossibility: the demise of Pikachu. Through formal haiku, every aspect of this Pokemon is acknowledged and mourned, until the grief - however ridiculous and infeasible - becomes too much.
On the Death of Pikachu was designed with particular reference to the NSW HSC Music 2 Core Performance requirements.
