Work Overview
Written as an audition piece for the Sydney Conservatorium's Bachelor of Music degree, String Quartet is a 2-movement piece lasting approximately 9 minutes. It is quite representative of my early style. Its first movement is strongly harmonic and rhythmic while the the 2nd begins with a more subdued and atonal approach which moves back to a strongly tonal and metrical conclusion.
