Three Haiku, by Julian Yu

Source: Recorded live at Halcyon concert ‘Of Earth and Stars’ on Saturday 16 April 2016

Yu draws deeply on both Eastern and Western musical traditions for his inspiration but seeks to be unconfined by these distinctions: "If a composer can be brave and not be limited by known sounds and styles, his composition may reveal new and beautiful worlds of sound."
