Alternating Currents - Bernadette Harvey, piano (Tall Poppies)
Bernadette Harvey is one of Australia's finest pianists with a scarily accurate technique, a fearless approach to the nuances of the music she plays, and an ability to make clear at first hearing the intentions of the composer. This is her debut solo CD, and the works she has chosen - including Ross Edwards's Etymalong and Carl Vine's Five Bagatelles - show the range of her interests.
