This day features "Fluteworthy" (Jocelyn Fazzone Lamorna Nightingale and Christine Draeger).

The Newcastle Flute Society presents A community Flute Day on May the 25th at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, corner of Laman and Auckland Streets, Newcastle.

This exciting event is for flute players of all ages and stages. There are masteclasses; musical games and learning for kids; solo and ensemble playing for all ages. The event will conclude with a final massed flute ensemble and concert which shall include the premiere of Andrew Chubb's Berceuse (Sally Walker flute, Andrew Chubb piano).

The Flute Day is host to some of Australia's finest flute teachers and players who will be sharing their skill in a variety of workshops and masterclasses.
